Kimberley Robinson Alexander

Kimberley Robinson Alexander, Founder and Executive Director of the B-InPowerD Movement and The Healthcare Navigators, is a dedicated and passionate advocate for equity in healthcare, education, and for the fair treatment of our most vulnerable populations within public & private, local & federal community agencies. With a background rich in human services and a personal journey that drives her commitment, Kimberley brings a unique and invaluable perspective to her business approach, making B-InPowerD a powerful resource to the community.

Kimberley has been a healthcare professional for 30 years This includes a 16-year career innursing. She is also the former Executive Director of MOBB United and MOBB United for Social Change. Kimberley’s dedication to advocacy is deeply rooted in her role as a mom, which is why her values resonated profoundly with MOBB United's mission to positively influence the treatment of Black boys and men in society. Those values were also the impetus to the launch of B-InPowerD.

In Kimberley’s various roles, she’s created mental health and autism awareness programs; toolkits for assistance navigating systems; provided counsel to countless families with special needs; developed podcasts; built internship programs; written policy and procedure; launched several self-care initiatives; has worked with countless law enforcement agencies and other partners to increase positive community outcomes; and has spoken on various stages sharing her testimony to drive change.

Among her many accolades, Kimberley was recognized as a Top 100 Joy Awards honoree in 2022 by award-winning actress Taraji P. Henson's Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation for her outstanding dedication to mental health advocacy and her efforts to support the Black community.

Kimberley's inspiration stems from her life experiences, her belief in the rights of all individuals to thrive, and her relentless dedication to her life’s quote: “I didn’t birth babies to bury them!” Kimberley Robinson Alexander epitomizes the values and vision this world needs to see a meaningful shift within marginalized communities, making her a tremendous leader and a powerful force in the fight for a better, more inclusive future.
