He has earned an MBA from a national ranked business school and has successfully led the turn-around of two non-profit organizations, raising more than $22 million dollars, tripling the size of one and growing the other to nearly 10 times its original size. Dan has also provided consultation for more than 100 non-profit organizations (NGOs) around the world.

Dan has developed nine fully funded and executed global anti-poverty and HIV/AIDS in Ethiopia, Zambia, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria and Swaziland. He created an organizational assessment and development system called "Apex Project" as a roadmap for assessment, consulting and organizational development for community and faith based organizations. Dan has served on panels and as a facilitator for several events, including the Department of Homeland Security's Heralding Unheard Voices Conference. He has also served on the Board of Directors for a variety of faith-based and community-based nonprofit organizations and led the development of two community coalitions.
