Episcopal Community Services

Episcopal Community Services (ECS) is a San Francisco–based nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing vulnerability, particularly those experiencing food insecurity, homelessness, and limited access to essential services.

ECS takes a comprehensive, integrated approach through meal programs, supportive housing, health and wellness services, employment and workforce development, and case management, with a strong focus on dignity, stability, and long-term self-sufficiency. Its work addresses both immediate basic needs and the underlying systemic challenges that contribute to poverty and housing instability.

Guided by values of compassion, equity, and inclusion, Episcopal Community Services partners with community organizations, local government, and donors to strengthen San Francisco’s social safety net and create sustainable pathways for individuals and families to rebuild their lives.
