Jessica Drake

Expertise: Fundraising, Research, and Development

Mrs. Drake has worked in the non-profit sector for the last 8 years. She has experience in youth engagement, fundraising, development, crisis counseling and helping patients with Alzheimer's, mental illness and substance abuse problems. She also retains skills in advocacy, policy, healthcare, billing and research. Over the last several years she has worked in early childhood education helping young children grow and providing them with a healthy stable environment. Her work experience includes the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in fundraising and recruitment for their yearly Pennies for Patients campaign and she has been lending her support to SAI in varying research projects and event coordination. She most recently began work for Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake as their Youth Engagement Coordinator, teaching students ages 5-25 about the needs for affordable housing and helping at risk youth understand community development in their neighborhoods. Mrs. Drake sits on the advisory board for Sister to Sister and possesses a Maryland State Crisis Counseling Certificate.
